What should I do if my goods arrive damaged or missing?
Steps to follow if you receive damaged goods during shifting.
If you receive goods arrived with damage or explore anything missing, contact your packers & movers ASAP. Now you should follow below steps:
Documentation of the package: When you are receiving a damaged or missing package, firstly take a snap of the damaged item. It will help you in the future to claim a refund.
Go through the refund/return policy: In this phase, you should read all the return, refund or other policies. It will be helpful for you to discuss the issue with packers & movers and get the solution.
Contact your packers & movers: Now it's the step to contact the customer care executives of your appointed packing & moving company about the damaged or missing products.
Contact the carrier/third party: Now you can lodge complaints at the carrier company or the third party. Here you may provide snapshots of damaged or missing items. It will help you to get the return, refund or other solutions of issues.
Return the item: Consult with all the third parties or packing moving companies and return your damaged items or inform about the missing Goods.
After all these steps, if you are not satisfied with your packers movers company or carriers, please file a general missing diary at the nearest police station.
